National University Promotion Rules and Regulations have been published by the authority.

The new regulation has been approved at the National University (NU) for promotion in the grading system in Honors courses.

According to the regulation, for promotion from 1st year to 2nd year and 2nd year to 3rd year, students have to get ‘D’ grade in at least 3 theoretical subjects.

For promotion from 3rd year to 4th year, students have to get ‘D’ grade in at least four theoretical subjects.

Students, who have got ‘F grade’ in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year, have to pass by getting ‘D’ or higher grade. Students will not get any degree if he/she gets any ‘F’ grade and didn’t pass.

(16) F course must be upgraded to a minimum of the grade. The degree of honors will not be obtained in the other.

(17) Those who are not promoted, they will have to pass by examining the previous year.

(18) Those who fail to do 12 or 3, and those who have passed will be able to get in the next year but they will have to pass on with the Improvement Test again.
