Educational institutions are not closed during Ramadan, it’s a rumour. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has issued a notification saying that government primary schools will run according to the announced date and time during Ramadan. Rumours are being spread on social media about the Prime Minister’s instructions on the holy Ramadan holidays in primary schools. Which is undesirable and unexpected. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has urged us not to be misled by the rumours. Legal action will be taken to identify the rumour mongers.
According to the announced date and time, the government primary school will run till Ramadan 20. The Prime Minister has not declared a holiday in educational institutions during Ramadan, it is a rumour. This information was given by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Tuesday (March 29) evening. Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Directorate of Primary Education Alamgir Muhammad Mansoorul Alam said that no new instructions have been issued from the ministry or the department. We have not received any instructions from the Prime Minister’s Office.
On March 22, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued a notification directing the continuation of teaching activities in the classrooms of government primary schools till Ramadan 20. Apart from this, the Department of Primary Education has instructed me to continue direct teaching in the classroom from 9.30 am to 3 pm in the last 24 hours. Alamgir Muhammad Mansoorul Alam urged the teachers not to listen to any rumours circulating on social media without the instructions of the ministry and the department.
