The National University will take admission in graduation on the basis of GPA. It is learned that the national university authorities will soon sit down to take a decision in this regard with the concerned admission committee of the university. There will be a discussion and the related issues related to the admission process, including the start date of admission application, will be determined. This time also, on the basis of the GPA obtained in secondary and higher secondary, students will be admitted in graduation under the national university in different colleges of the country.

However, no final decision has been taken yet on when the admission process for 2020-21 will begin. When asked about this, on Saturday (February 19) afternoon, the Vice-Chancellor of the National University, Prof. Dr. Mashiur Rahman said that since the results of higher secondary have been done, the admission committee has already started the work. Soon, this admission committee will sit down and discuss various issues of the admission process.

Asked when the admission application could start, he said, “I can’t or say this decision alone.” It can be said by sitting with the admission committee soon and discussing it. According to the latest report of the University Grants Commission (UGC), there are 10,93,811 seats at the undergraduate (pass)/graduate (honors)/graduate technical/equivalent level of the National University.

And against these seats, the students admitted were 8 lakh 71 thousand 382, while 24 thousand 694 seats were vacant. He added that this time too, exams will not be held in colleges under the national university. The process that has been admitted other times will be followed this time as well.
