Department of Secondary and Higher Education 6 Instructions. Piloting of the new curriculum is going on in 62 educational institutions of the country. Maushi published the instructions on its website on Monday.

The instructions are –

1, For the purpose of the tri-out, activities should be conducted by subject-wise teachers trained by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).

2, Participate in the training of teachers organized at different times by the NCTB.

3, the class activities should be conducted in accordance with the learning-learning materials (teacher guides, textbooks, workbooks) developed according to the new curriculum and the instruction of training.

4, the number of students in the prescribed branch of Class VI for the tryout activities cannot be kept above 70.

5, the national curriculum outline 2021 should be followed in terms of learning hours, weekly offs, national day celebrations, learning activities outside the classroom, etc. for the tryout activities.

6, the evaluation activities of the students in the prescribed branch of class VI of the selected institution will have to be completed according to the new curriculum.

A total of 62 educational institutions, including 51 secondary schools, nine madrasas, and two technical ones, are undergoing piloting of the new curriculum across the country. In the selected educational institutions, in the light of ‘National Curriculum Outline Pre-Primary to Class XII, 2021’, these instructions should be followed in the conduct of the process of checking the utility of learning-taught material developed for class VI (tryout or piloting).
