H. M. Enayet Hossain. He said this after the MBBS first-year admission test held across the country on Friday. We are taking four days to prepare the fruit. “Last year, the results of the MBBS admission test were released after a gap of two days in 2020-21. Enayet Hossain said it would take a little longer due to Ramadan, adding that the results were given in two days last year. But this is the month of Ramadan. That’s why it can’t work at full speed. I worked day and night that year, and this time it’s not possible. As a result, it will naturally take a little more time.
Earlier on Friday morning, the MBBS admission test started simultaneously across the country. Starting at 10 a.m. today, the admission test continues until 11 a.m. This time, a total of 1,43,915 students appeared for the admission test at 57 venues at 19 centers in the country. There are 4,350 seats in 37 government medical colleges across the country and 6,489 in 72 private medical colleges. According to this, there were 13 candidates for each seat in the government-private medical colleges.
According to the department of health education, 87 seats will be allotted in the freedom fighters’ quota for admission to government medical colleges and 33 for tribals. In the remaining 4,230 seats, candidates will be selected on 80 percent national merit and 20 percent in the district quota. 4,350 students will be selected for government medical colleges with 100 marks in MCQ and 200 marks in SSC and HSC, a total of 300 marks. Apart from this, those who will get more than 40 marks from MCQ 100 marks, students will be taken into private medical them.
