Sarees and jewellery can’t be sold on Facebook without registration

Sarees and jewelry can’t be sold on Facebook without registration. Sarees and jewelry cannot be sold on Facebook without registration. Many entrepreneurs and businessmen are now languishing in jail on charges of cheating. In this reality, the work of giving unique business identification (UBID) numbers is going to be started for the first time. For this, an app called UBID Apps has been created. If you want to do business in the e-commerce sector, now you have to take UBID. Again, those who do business in this sector using Facebook will also have to come under registration.

In the interest of the e-commerce sector, many steps, including the registration process, had to be taken earlier. But due to not being able to do so in time, many people have been cheated. AHM Sofikuzzaman, head of the Central Digital Commerce Cell and additional secretary in the Ministry of Commerce, said in a telephone call later tonight, “Tomorrow morning, the overall aspect of the digital commerce business will be first reviewed, then the UBID apps will be launched. Work is underway to launch a few more services to bring the e-commerce sector in the greater order.

It is learned that the Central Logistics Management System (CCMS) is being launched to settle any complaint against a registered company along with UBID. Apart from this, the construction of a digital inter-transaction platform called ‘Exchange’ is also going on. According to the concerned people, the discipline of the entire e-commerce sector will depend on when the exchange, CCMS, and CLTP will be fully formed, through which departments of the government they will be managed, how to solve the case of customer refunds, and what will happen to the cases of the entrepreneurs to resolve the ongoing crisis. An entrepreneur feels that the issues need to be discussed in tomorrow’s meeting itself.

Through the exchange app, money can be sent as any bank from the financial service provider (MFS) to bKash, Cash, Way, or any mobile.  The two services will also be officially launched in a few weeks. After these two, the Central Logistics Tracking Platform (CLTP) will be launched, its work is also going on. Talking to responsible officials of the Commerce Ministry, it is learned that for so long there was no system of registering e-commerce companies. As a result, no one was caught. A lot of bad things have happened in this space. Now, of course, this sector will come under discipline.

According to sources, UBID will be given to some institutions from the venue tomorrow. Later, the entire registration work will be done by the Office of the Registrar of Joint Capital Companies and Firms (DJSC), an institution under the Ministry of Commerce. Before becoming the office, the short name of this organization was RJSC. Aspire to Innovate (A2I) is in charge of looking at the technical aspect of UBID. The app has recently been readied to be officially launched after three months of work.

Asked what will happen if someone does business without registration, Shahab Uddin said, “We hope no one does that. If someone wants to do that, it will be really difficult for him to do business. The government still does not know how many customers are duped by an e-commerce company and the number of their dues. However, the Ministry of Commerce formed a committee on January 25 to find out. However, there are 41 cases in the name of 15 companies for cheating people’s money in the name of e-commerce. There are 110 accused in these cases and 36 people have been arrested.
