The exam will be held on Saturday at 9 am at nine centres in the capital. The test will continue until 1:00 p.m. The seating arrangement was published on the Bar Council’s website on Thursday evening.

Around 13,000 students are scheduled to appear for the written exam. In the Bangladesh Bar Council, lawyers have to pass the impersonal, written and oral examinations to get the certificate. Once the students pass one of those three stages of the exam, they get the opportunity to participate in the next exam for the second and last time.

Accordingly, out of 34,000 students in 2017, 3,590 students who were dropped for the second and last time in the written examination and out of about 70,000 trainee lawyers in 2021, 8,764 students passed the impersonal examination, a total of 12,858 certificate aspirants will appear for the written examination.
