The 17th teacher registration test will not be held next June
The 17th teacher registration test will not be held next June. Although the 17th Teacher Registration Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held next June, it is not happening. The Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) is unable to conduct the prelim examination as it cannot rent a room for ancillary work.
In this context, NTRCA Secretary. Obaidur Rahman said that although the preliminary arrangement for the 17th teacher registration was planned for June, it will not be possible due to many reasons. Although it could not be taken in June, efforts are being made to hold a prelim examination in a short time.
According to NTRCA sources, an office at Dhanmondi in the capital had two rooms allotted for NTRCA. The Ministry of Education has given the two rooms to Mymensingh Education Board. NTRCA is working to find a new room. Several houses have already been visited. However, NTRCA has not rented a room yet.
The source further said that it will not be possible to rent a room this month due to the holy Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. Even if you get a room in May, it will take June to start working there. In this case, it is not possible to hold the prelim examination in the current financial year.
Asked when the prelim test for the 16th registration could be held, he said it was difficult to say. We have some plans in this regard. However, that cannot be said at the moment. We will soon conduct the 16th registration test. Despite receiving applications from new candidates, the authorities have not been able to take any decision on the prelim test due to the room crisis.
