Sources said 147 seats are lying vacant against 955 general seats in the ‘A’ unit of the Science Faculty. There are 139 vacancies against 602 seats in the ‘B’ unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Of these, 57 are vacant against 225 seats in the science stream, 32 against 83 seats in the commerce stream, and 50 seats against 294 in the humanities department.
