The preliminary admission process for the third phase of 2020-21 of Chittagong University (Cu) has been completed. Another 672 seats are vacant after the admission of this phase. However, the administration is hopeful that all the seats will be filled in the fourth phase of the admission process. According to the information given to the media from Chabi’s ICT cell, 218 seats are vacant against 1,212 seats in the ‘A’ unit.

In the ‘B’ unit, 238 seats are vacant against 1,221 seats. In the ‘C’ unit, 36 seats are vacant against 441 seats, and in the ‘D’ unit, 153 seats are vacant against 1,160 seats. In 2020-21, there were a total of 4,926 seats in four units and two sub-units of Chabi. After three phases of admission, students have been admitted to 4,254 seats against these seats. Another 672 seats are vacant.

Apart from this, there are 25 vacant seats against 125 seats in the ‘B1’ of the two sub-units. However, there are no vacant seats against the 30 seats in the ‘D1’ unit, the ICT cell of Chabi said. In this regard, The Director of the ICT Cell, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khairul Islam told the media that 672 seats are still vacant after the completion of the preliminary admission process of the third phase. Hopefully, all the seats will be filled in the fourth phase admission process.
