Jahangirnagar University admission test in the short syllabus. Prof. Mujibur Rahman said that keeping in mind the admission seekers, the education board has decided to conduct the admission test based on the ‘short syllabus’. The syllabus in which they have taken the examination in higher secondary will be followed as much as possible.

The honors first-year admission test in 2021-22 at Jahangirnagar University will be in a short syllabus. In addition, the opportunity to take the second test (second time) is retained. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board of Education on February 24 (Thursday).

Regarding the second admission, General Secretary of The Jabi Teachers’ Association and professor of the Institute of Business Administration Motahar Hossain said that the matter was included in the academic council’s agenda in the wake of the University Grants Commission’s letter. In today’s discussion, most of the members voted in favor of having the opportunity to take the exam a second time. That’s why this decision was made. Apart from the second time, the admission test procedure was also discussed in the education board meeting.
