Dhaka University admission in evening course of Pass number 40. The evening course is being launched in Dhaka University under a new name. From now on, the course will be known as the Professional and Executive Master’s Program. In the face of criticism, the admission process of this course was stopped for almost two years. At that time, the university had formed a high-level committee to examine whether there would be an evening course. Based on the recommendations of the committee, the syndicate approved the new policy for this course.

In this regard, the head of the committee and the pro-VC (education) of the university, Prof. Dr. A.S.M. Maqsood Kamal said that professional and executive master’s programs will be conducted in the light of the new policy. Any department will approve the program to the Academic Council before starting it. Departments that have run multiple programs to apply afresh. Which program they want to continue has to be raised in the Academic Council. They can admit students only if the academic council approves it.

According to the policy, there will be an examination to admit students to professional and executive master’s programs. Applicants need to get a minimum of 40 marks on the admission test. In any of the educational exams, there should not be a third class, in the case of GPA or CGPA, it cannot be below 2.5. Students will have to comply with these new rules. Such programs cannot be conducted without authorization.

However, every department can start a maximum of such courses. In 2002, the first evening course was introduced in the Faculty of Business Education of Dhaka University. The evening course became quite popular in a short time as the teachers had the opportunity to earn extra income. In less than two decades, the university introduced 69 evening courses in 35 departments and institutes.
