Dhaka University’s general classes begin on Tuesday

The physical classes at Dhaka University will start on Tuesday. This information was given by the Public Relations Office of Dhaka University in a press release on Saturday morning. Earlier, on February 11, it was said in the notification that only undergraduate (honors) first-year general classes will start from February 22. Meanwhile, on February 17, after the government decided to open educational institutions from February 22, Dhaka University also announced physical classes for everyone.

Due to the surge in corona infections, the class activities at Dhaka University have been closed for about four weeks. Classes are being held online while the residential hall is open. The university authorities have said that the class activities of all the years will start from Tuesday by “following proper hygiene”. According to today’s press release of Dhaka University, the educational activities in the classroom of all the year students of Dhaka University will resume from Tuesday, February 22, following proper hygiene.

Apart from this, the pre-announced routine-based examinations will continue. The offices of the university will also remain open from Tuesday as usual. In the wake of the worsening corona situation, the Dhaka University authorities January 21 last closed the classes by keeping the halls open for two weeks.
