SSC scholarships 2024: 25,000 students getting scholarships based on SSC exam results. Out of these, 3,000 students will be given merit scholarships and 22,500 students will be given general scholarships. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has allocated board-wise quotas to give merit and general scholarships for the SSC examination 2023. The education boards have been asked to publish the scholarship gazette by selecting the students for the scholarship by February 15.
It is known that 906 students of the Dhaka Board who have passed the SSC examination in 2024 will be given merit scholarships and 5,691 students will be given a general scholarship. Apart from this, 185 students of Mymensingh Board have merit scholarships and general scholarships to 1,641 students, merit scholarships to 507 students of Rajshahi Board and general scholarships to 2,799 students, merit scholarships to 269 students of Comilla Board and general scholarships to 2,971 students, merit scholarship to 89 students of Sylhet Board and general scholarship to 1,429 students
merit scholarship to 187 students of Barisal Board and general scholarship to 1,283 students, 301 students of Jessore Board will be given merit scholarships and 2,296 students will be given a general scholarship, 235 students of Chittagong Board will be given merit scholarships and 1,916 students will be given a general scholarship and 321 students of Dinajpur Board will be given merit scholarship and 2,474 students will be given a general scholarship. This is how the scholarship quota has been distributed and the boards have been informed.
The order for distribution of the scholarship quota sent to the board by the directorate was released on Monday. It shows the statistics of how many students of a board are getting merit scholarships and how many students are getting general scholarships. The scholarship amount will be delivered directly to the accounts of the students through G2P or EFT. It is known that the students who get merit scholarships will be given tk 600 per month and tk 900 per year. General scholarships will be given tk 350 a month and tk 450 per year at a time. The scholarship money will be deducted from the scholarship-merit scholarship sector of the revenue budget for the financial year 2021-2022.
