First-year classes at Barisal University begin on February 27. This was confirmed by Proctor Dr. Khorshed Alam. He said that in the academic council meeting of the university on Tuesday (February 15) afternoon, it was decided that classes for the first-year undergraduate students of 2020-21 will be started.

On that day, the departments will do orientation. Which will then be held centrally. If the ongoing restrictions are not extended after February 21, classes for all the years will start in person. Barisal University (Bobby) administration has decided to start in-person classes. Classes will resume on February 27. On January 22 this year, the in-person classes were stopped. However, some classes, including exams, viva activities, are continuing online.
