Next year students will have to take part in SSC and HSC equivalent examinations in all subjects. The Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee has said that these examinations will be held in all subjects as per the restructured syllabus of 2022 prepared by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). The head of all the institutions has been informed about the matter by sending a letter on behalf of the committee.

Candidates will have three hours for each subject to appear for next year’s SSC and equivalent examinations of 2023 and HSC and equivalent examinations. And next year SSC and HSC exams will be 100 marks in each subject. The letter was released from the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education on Monday.

The HSC and equivalent examination of 2022 will be taken in 2 hours and the number will be between 45-55 marks depending on the subject. Usually, 100 number test is taken in three hours. The education boards have said that this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations will be held from August 22.

The letter, signed by Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the committee and chairman of the Dhaka Board of Education, further said that the full marks of the ICT examination at the SSC level would be 50 and 100 marks in 3 hours in each other subject. And at the HSC level, 100 marks will be held in 3 hours in each subject.
