Medical admission test in December. According to sources, the admission test has been planned to be held in December to come out of the shortage created in medical education due to coronavirus. If this year’s HSC and equivalent exams are completed within the stipulated time, the medical admission test will be held in December.
The Department of Health Education wants to conduct the admission test for 2022-23 of government and private medical colleges in the country in December. The matter was also informally discussed by the officials of the department.
An official of the directorate of health education on condition of anonymity said the idea is to hold admission tests in December to fill the post-corona learning gap. But it’s not final yet. A decision in this regard will be taken after the hsc and equivalent examinations are over.
One lakh 43 thousand 915 students registered to take the exam against a total of 4,350 seats in government medical colleges across the country. Of these, the number of students in Dhaka was 61,678. One lakh 39 thousand 740 people participated in this examination.
