The assistant teacher recruitment examination of primary schools, scheduled to be held in the second phase in Sylhet district on May 20, has been postponed. This was stated in a press release signed by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Wednesday (May 18).
The first phase of recruitment of 45,000 assistant teachers in government primary schools was held on April 22 (Friday). The second phase of the three-phase exam will be held on May 20. However, due to the flood situation in Sylhet district in the second phase of the examination, the examination of that district has been postponed. The postponed district exams will be held in the second phase along with the third phase on June 3.
According to sources in the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the examination will be held in all Upazilas of Rajshahi, Khulna, Faridpur, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Barisal, and Rangpur districts in the second phase.
