According to the office order, the government has taken the initiative to create a ‘unique ID’ for all students up to Class 12.

Bangladesh Bureau of Education Information and Statistics of the Ministry of Education is in the process of creating profile databases of secondary and higher secondary level students (classes VI-XII) and filling up information records at the educational institution level for unique IDs. Which was supposed to be completed by February 16. However, the deadline has been extended till February 28. This information was given by an office order signed by The Unique ID’s project director Shamsul Alam on Thursday (February 3).
