Instructions to conduct classes in two shifts in primary schools. Classes for students in government primary schools across the country will begin on Wednesday. Government primary schools in one shift have been asked to conduct classes in two shifts. But pre-primary classes are not starting right now. Primary schools are being asked to conduct classes in two shifts to ensure hygiene when classes begin. In this case, students of classes 1 and 2 will have to take place from 9 am to 12 am and classes 3, 4, and 5 from 12 noon to 4.15 pm in primary schools.

Shahinur Al Amin, president of the Bangladesh Assistant Teachers’ Society, said on Tuesday afternoon that primary schools operating in one shift across the country will have to take classes in two shifts. Education officials are giving this instruction to follow hygiene. Teachers don’t have to stay in school for too long. Students can also take classes according to hygiene. Asked about the way classes will be conducted in government primary schools, Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, public relations officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, said on Tuesday afternoon that classes should be conducted in primary schools according to hygiene. There will be classes from 1st to 5th standard every day.

Although normal class activities have started, it is mandatory to wear a mask in the class. This will be ensured by teachers and parents. The schools which are run in one shift can take classes in two shifts to ensure hygiene. This is overseen by education officials. In this regard, the schools will have to conduct classes in the institution as per the instructions of the Upazila education officer. When asked about this, an education officer of a nearby Upazila of Dhaka said that schools have been instructed to take classes every day from classes 1 to 5.

And I have asked the schools which are run in one shift to take classes in two shifts. Instructions have been given to hold classes of first and second class from 9 am to 12 noon and classes 3, 4, and 5 from 12 noon to 4.15 pm. In the virtual meeting chaired by the newly appointed Primary and Mass Education Secretary Aminul Islam Khan, instructions have been given to hold two-shift classes. Accordingly, I am giving instructions to all schools to take classes.
