An official from the Ministry of Education announced the decision on Monday. The teachers requested the higher authorities of the ministry to reconsider the issue of keeping the school college open. The government announced the closure of educational institutions on March 16, 2020, due to Corona. After 18 months, the educational institution was opened in September last year.

But then the government announced a holiday in the educational institution again on January 21, which was till February 21, as the infection of corona increased again. After that, first, the secondary, higher secondary, and higher educational institutions were opened. Later, the primary school was reopened in the first week of March. At present pre-primary classes are also running.

Usually, during the holy month of Ramadan, there is a holiday in the educational institution. But this time, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced to keep all government primary schools open till 20th of Ramadan to make up for the loss of students due to the unusual holiday. After that, the decision was taken to keep the secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions open till April 26, which is now Kamal.

Earlier on Monday, an order was issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, saying that the educational activities of the students were affected due to the closure of classrooms for a long time due to Corona. In this context, the educational institutions were requested to continue teaching in the classrooms till April 26. The Ministry of Education asked the universities to take necessary steps in this regard in the decision of the Academic Council and Syndicate.
