The fourth public notice for the recruitment of teachers in private educational institutions will be issued at the end of March or the beginning of April. After the special recruitment of 15,000 teachers this month, 40,000 more teachers will be appointed across the country through the fourth public notice, according to the Private Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).

An NTRCA official said the recruitment of teachers in private educational institutions had been stalled for the last three years. Due to this, about 80,000 posts of teachers are vacant across the country. In the third phase, 34,000 teachers are being recruited. Another 40,000 posts are vacant. They will be recruited in the fourth phase. On Sunday morning, the recruits began a hunger strike in front of the National Press Club demanding a fourth public notice through e-requisition.

After 1 pm, they went in front of the NTRCA office in the Eskaton Garden area. From there, the NTRCA called a delegation of protesters. The third public notice was issued for the appointment of 54,000 teachers in private schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutions.

However, in the third public notice, 15,325 posts remained vacant as most of the applicants were index holders and there were no eligible candidates in the women’s quota and other fields. In this situation, NTRCA is going to publish a special public notice to remove the teacher crisis. However, the fourth public notice aspirants demanded that the fourth public notice be published in coordination with the e-requisition. It is possible to fill vacancies.
