Directorate of Primary Education Result 2024: The results of the 2022 primary scholarship examination will be published between February 25 and 28. Primary and Mass Education Secretary Farid Ahmed announced the decision at a press conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The press conference was organized on the recent activities of the ministry. The preliminary scholarship examination was held on December 30. In this, 20 percent of the fifth-grade students of each school got the opportunity to participate. This test is based on a total of 100 marks in Bengali, English, Mathematics, and Science subjects with 25 marks each.

The results of the primary scholarship can be found online on the website of the Directorate of Primary Education (www.dpe.gov.bd) and locally from the office of the Divisional Deputy Director, the Office of the District Primary Education Officer and the Office of the Upazila Education Officer.

Talentpool scholarship is distributed by determining the upazila/thana quota in proportion to the number of students participating in the primary education completion examination of the upazila/thana. General scholarships are distributed based on union and municipal wards.

This time, 48 thousand 144 scholarships have been given in each of the 8,024 union/municipality wards as 6 (3 students and 3 girls), and from the remaining 1,356 scholarships, 2 more (1 student and 1 girl) in each upazila/police station, 1,022 general scholarships in 511 upazilas/police stations and 4 more (2 students and 2 girls) in each district from the remaining 334 scholarships.

In addition to increasing the number of scholarships, the amount of scholarship money has also increased since 2015. Earlier, talent pool scholarship recipients were given Tk 200 per month, but from 2015, tk 300 and general scholarship recipients are being given Tk 225 instead of Tk 150 per month.
