Dhaka University DU PhD Admission Circular 2022 Result has been published today.Ph.D. in the academic year 2022-2023 (July-December) at Dhaka University. Applications for admission to the program have been invited. Interested candidates can apply by downloading the form from the university’s website and filling it up.

How to apply for admission to PhD program:

The Dhobi administration said interested candidates will have to apply in the prescribed form. The application form can be downloaded from dhaka university’s website (https://du.ac.bd). The application form should be duly filled and submitted to the office of the chairman of the department concerned or the director of the institute.

Along with the application form, a copy of the receipt of deposit of tk 1,000 at the Janata Bank TSC branch, a photocopy of all the examination marks and a copy of the passport size photograph taken recently will have to be submitted attested by the concerned supervisor or the chairman of the department or the director of the institute. At the same time, a synopsis of research has to be submitted. The admission application has to be made after determining the equality of the degree earned from abroad. If any information is given secret or incorrect information, the admission will be considered to be canceled.

Eligibility for admission to the PhD program in DU:

In order to get admission in the PhD program in Dhobi, the candidate must be entitled to an MPhil pass or a 4-year bachelor’s degree and a 1-year master’s degree from a public university or a 3-year bachelor’s degree and a 1-year master’s degree. Candidates should have a minimum of 50 per cent marks in all the examinations including at least 2nd section or class. According to the CGPA rules, all examinations from secondary or equivalent to graduation and post-graduation should be 3.5 out of CGPA-5 or 3 out of CGPA 4. Candidates must have at least 2 research articles published in a recognized quality journal. In the case of faculty of arts, faculty of social sciences and faculty of business studies, at least 1 research publication must be of a single name. Candidates with 3-year bachelor’s honours and 1 year master’s degree should have at least 2 years teaching experience in a recognized educational institution at the undergraduate level.
