Asked about the publication of the merit list for admission at 12 noon on Monday, the professor said, “Our results are ready. The results will be published on the website at 4 pm. The applicants will be able to know the result through SMS on their mobile phones. He added that since the publication of the result, by June 28, one has to go to the national university’s admission website and go to the honors applicant log-in link and log in with the correct roll number and PIN number and fill the final admission form and take a print copy of it.

It is learnt that if the admission seeker who is placed in the 1st merit list is admitted in any educational program in the academic year 2020-2021, he must cancel the admission of the previous academic year by June 27, 2022 and fill the final admission form online. Otherwise, due to the dual admission, the admission and registration of the 1st year undergraduate (honours) class in the academic year 2021-2022 of the student will be deemed to be cancelled.
It is to be noted that if a student who is ranked in the 1st merit list wishes to change his subject, he will have to select the yes option in the specified room of change of subject in the final admission form. In this case, according to the choice of subject of the students, the subject will be changed based on merit in the subject-wise vacant seats in the respective college. Classes for the students admitted in this academic year will start from July 03, 2022.
It is learnt that the admission application process started at 4 pm on May 22 and continued till noon on June 9. In the academic year 2021-22, a total of 5,48,428 candidates have applied for admission in the three units of science, humanities and business education. Of these, 1,60,884 applications have been received in science, 1,12,765 in business education and 2,74,782 in humanities.
