The HSC examination will start on August 17. The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will start distributing the admit cards of HSC candidates to the officers in charge of the center from August 9 and 10. Earlier, the admit cards were to be distributed on August 8 and 9. Recently, the Dhaka Education Board has published a notification in this regard.

According to the board officials, on August 8, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni is scheduled to hold a press briefing. Due to this, the distribution of admit cards has been postponed by a day. The admit cards will be distributed to the candidates at centers in Tangail, Narsingdi, Faridpur, Madaripur, Shariatpur, Rajbari, Gopalganj and Kishoreganj districts on August 9. On August 10, the admit cards of the candidates of Dhaka Metropolitan, Dhaka District, Gazipur, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, and Manikganj districts will be distributed.

In the letter signed by the controller of examinations of the board Professor Abul Bashar, it has been said that the officer-in-charge of the center or any teacher authorized by him (including signature attested) will collect the admit cards of the candidates of all educational institutions under the center from the board during the office time. Under no circumstances can anyone other than the teacher be given the power to take the admit card. If the officer-in-charge of a center is the acting principal of that center, then his application form should be signed by the president of the board of directors or deputy commissioner or upazila nirbahi officer.

If there is any mistake in the admit card, then the heads of the institutions have been asked to apply to the deputy examination controller of the higher secondary branch of the board between August 10 and 14 to correct it. The board also said that if the admit card is not amended, the heads of institutions will be responsible if there is a problem in the examination.
