The notification further said that if a candidate who has failed in partial subject (failed in one or two subjects) has failed in elective subject, then the examinee has to participate in the assignment activities in his failed elective subject. For example, if a candidate who has failed in a partial subject fails in Bangla (compulsory subject) and Chemistry (optional subject), then he / she will participate in the assignment activities only in Chemistry subject. Candidates who fail in the required and fourth subjects do not have to participate in the assignment activities.

The regional deputy directors of Mausi have been asked to provide information on how many students have accepted assignments, how many have submitted and how many students have not. Recently, a letter has been sent from Mausi to the regional deputy directors with this instruction.

In a letter to the Deputy Directors, Mausi said that the assignment prepared in the light of the restructured syllabus for 2021 SSC candidates sent by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board as per the instructions of the Ministry of Education was published on Mausi’s secondary branch on July 18 for three weeks. . In the light of those instructions, it is necessary to monitor whether the assignment activities of the students at the field level are being conducted properly.

Meanwhile, in the data sending table, the overall information of the SSC candidates has been sought based on the assignment region. It should mention the name of the region, the name of the deputy director, email id, phone number. The table should include the total number of districts, number of Upazilas, number of government and private secondary schools, number of SSC candidates in 2021. At the same time, Mausi asked the regional deputy directors to send e-mails including the number of students who took assignments in the first three weeks in the region, the number of students who submitted and the number of students who did not submit assignments solution.

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, the Ministry of Education has planned to conduct this year’s SSC and HSC examinations instead of all subjects and only three group-based electives. The short syllabus of these subjects will be completed on the basis of the assignment. Of these, a total of 24 assignments are being given in SSC and 30 assignments in HSC.

In the letter, all the Regional Deputy Directors (Secondary) of Mausi have been asked to send the total number of assignment submissions for the first three weeks to the students from all the Thanas or Upazilas in their respective areas in the form of Upazila based, district based and area information in summary form. The department has also sent a table to the regional education offices for this. The Regional Deputy Directors have been asked to prepare the information as per the schedule and send it by e-mail (assignment.mew@gmail.com) of the Monitoring and Evaluation Wing of the Department by August 19. Officers have been asked to follow the instructions of the notification issued by the department in sending the information and to follow the proper hygiene rules.
