What is Marine Engineering:

Engineering related to navigation, movement and engine propulsion of sea-going commercial vessels is known as marine engineering. There are 2 parts to this engineering.

1) Nautical: Study of navigation, and stability of the ship. The captain falls step by step in this branch.

2) Engineering: Study of engine propulsion, and maintenance of ships. In this branch, the chief engineer is step by step.

One thing needs to be made clear here that the Bangladesh Navy and the Marine are not the same. There is no chance of joining any defense or force after the Marines.
