The results of the admission test for the academic year 2022-23 of the government and private medical colleges of the country can be published on Sunday or tomorrow. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has already completed the work of viewing the OMR sheet. After the results are published, students will be able to know in three ways. It is learned that on Saturday (March 11th), buet and the concerned officials of the Department of Health Education spoke to the concerned officials.
This time 1 lakh 39 thousand 217 students applied to participate in the medical admission test. However, 3,404 people were absent in the examination. According to sources, the results will be published on Sunday (March 12) afternoon after the OMR screening is completed at night. If the work is not completed at night, the results will be published on Monday (March 13).
The medical admission test was held simultaneously at 57 venues in 19 centers across the country. Apart from the capital, the admission test of medical colleges has been held in 14 district cities. The district towns were Rajshahi, Pabna, Kishoreganj, Chattogram, Barisal, Cumilla, Khulna, Rangpur, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Dinajpur, Bogra and Gopalganj.

It is learned that after the publication of the results, the https://result.dghs.gov.bd/mbbs will be known through the website. Apart from this, information about the results will also be published on the https://dgme.portal.gov.bd/ website of the Department of Health Education. Besides, the results can be known through SMS. The result will be available on the mobile phone number given at the time of application.
At present, there are 4,350 MBBS seats in 37 government medical colleges in the country. 3,384 people will get admission in the merit quota, 846 in the district quota, 87 in the freedom fighter quota and 33 in the tribal quota. About 32 people are contesting for seats this time.
Out of the students who have passed the admission test for 6,772 seats in 71 private medical colleges, 33,860 students will be considered for admission on the basis of merit and choice. This time one mark will be given for every correct answer in the medical admission test. In addition, 0.25 marks can be deducted for each wrong answer.
