The national university’s merit list for the first year of graduation for the academic year 2021-2022 was published on June 20. At that time, classes were announced to start on July 3. Later, the national university administration increased the time for admission and the start of classes.
The time to fill up the application form of the students who have been placed in the 1st merit list in the 1st year undergraduate (honours) admission program of the National University for the academic year 2021-2022 has been extended till 4 pm on July 06, 2022. If a student who is ranked on the 1st merit list wishes to change his subject, he/she will have to select the specific room and option of changing the subject in the final admission form. In this case, the subject will be changed on the basis of merit in the subject-wise vacant seats in the respective college according to the preference of the students.
Classes for students admitted in this academic year will begin on July 20, 2023.

Dean (acting) of the School of Undergraduate Education at the National University, Prof. Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin said that the time of admission of students in the 1st merit list has been extended. In the 1st merit list, the 2nd merit list will be published at the end of the student admission process. At this time, through the release slip, the students can get admission subject to the vacancy of seats in other institutions.
The second merit list is likely to be published by July 20. The list of those selected will be published on the university’s website at 9 pm today. Apart from this, the result can also be known through SMS on the mobile phone.
On May 22, at 4 pm, the application for admission to the national university for the academic year 2021-22 started till 12 pm till June 9. A total of 5,14,262 people have applied for admission. Of these, 1,74,591 applied in science, 1,06,188 in business education and 2,60,485 in humanities.
If the student who is enrolled in the 2nd merit list is admitted in an educational program in the academic year 2020-2021, he/she must cancel the previous admission and fill the final admission form online. Otherwise, due to the dual admission, the admission and registration of the 1st year graduate (honours) class will be cancelled. If a student who is ranked in the 2nd merit list wants to change his subject, he/she will have to select the Yes option in the specified room of change of subject in the final admission form. In this case, according to the choice of the subject of the students, the subject will be changed on the basis of merit in the subject-wise vacant seats in the respective college.
Among the students admitted in the 1st merit list, those whose subjects will be changed will have to download the admission form of the changed subject from online and collect its print/PDF copy. If a student’s subject changes, his admission in his previous subject will be cancelled and his admission in the changed subject will be confirmed. However, if the subject of a student does not change, the admission in his previous subject will continue and no fee will have to be paid.
