New year’s class routine has been published for government primary schools. The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) published the routine on Tuesday.

Different routines have been published for one shift and two shift schools. In the new year, one shift schools will start at 9 am and continue till 3:30 pm. Classes of two shifts will start from 9 am to 4:15 pm.

According to NCTB, the school authorities can change the format of the subject if necessary by keeping the time of the period in the class routine.

From this day onwards, all the students will have classes from the first to the fifth grade. And in all primary schools, classes will have to be conducted in two shifts. Classes will be held between 9.15 am and 12.20 pm for class I and II students and classes III, IV, and V from 12.20 pm to 4.20 pm.
