Dhaka University (DU) affiliated seven colleges Last merit list 2023 was published. Dhaka University (DU) has published the fifth and final list of nominations for the first-year undergraduate courses of seven colleges affiliated with The University of Dhaka for the academic year 2021-2022.
The results were published on Wednesday (January 11th) at 7:30 pm on the website (https://collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd) for the affiliated colleges of DU. 1476 students got the opportunity in this merit list. Those who have been given the opportunity to get admission according to the merit order subject to the vacant seats.
Convener of the admission test committee and chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter. Mostafizur Rahman.
He said the results of the admission test and the nomination process were completed in October last year by publishing the first, second and third merit lists of the subjects and colleges of seven government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University (DU). However, new students have been given the opportunity in those vacant seats, subject to several vacant seats being vacant.
However, the number of students getting a chance in the vacant seats is very low, he said, adding that in all, a total of 1476 students got the opportunity. Of these, about 1,000 are in science and the rest are in humanities and business education. However, there is no scope to publish any more nomination lists.
Earlier, the admission test of the Faculty of Science was held on August 12 last year, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences on August 19 and the Faculty of Commerce on August 26. The students who passed these examinations and got a place in the merit list later got the opportunity to fill the college and subject choice form.
