The final merit list for admission to seven government colleges affiliated with Dhaka University has been published. A total of 23,262 seats have been nominated in all the colleges. Mostafizur Rahman said, “In the last few years, the admission process has been conducted under the deans of the university, but this time we have taken this responsibility for the first time. In the last few years since it was affiliated, seven colleges did not have 26,160 seats. In 23 thousand 262 seats, the education program of seven colleges is going on.

According to a notification on the university’s website, the payslip for admission and registration of the second installment of all the students of the final nomination has been prepared. The applicants will have to deposit the money by February 19 and collect the receipt of the deposit. After that, on February 20-23, they will appear in person in their respective colleges and start the admission process.

In a separate notice signed by The University’s Deputy Registrar (Education-2) Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed, it has been informed that the teaching of the 1st year undergraduate (honors) class 2020-2021 in seven government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University will begin on February 23. The concerned of the seven colleges have been requested to take necessary measures to start teaching.

University admission committee sources said the admission test of seven affiliated government colleges was held in 2020-21 under the faculty of science, commerce and arts, and sociology. Although 26,160 seats were mentioned, the admission test was taken mainly for 23,262 seats. The first issue (26160) published on seats was a factual error.
