Order to pay salaries to government employees by April 25. A letter regarding the order, signed by ASM Lokman, Deputy Secretary, Treasury and Debt Management Division, Finance Department, was sent to the Comptroller and Auditor General on Sunday (April 10).

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Ministry of Finance has issued instructions to pay the salaries and allowances of the employees working in government, semi-government and autonomous organizations of the country by April 25.

The letter said that according to the official calendar of 2022, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 3 (subject to the sighting of the moon), so the government has decided that April The salary-allowance for the month of 2022, and the retirement allowance for the month of April-2022 will be paid to the retired government employees by April 25.

The letter also said that the order was issued under the powers conferred on Subsidiary Rules (SR) 113 (2) of the Bangladesh Treasury Rules.
