1,270 seats are still vacant after admission to Islamic University. The admission process for the third merit list of 2020-21 undergraduate first year of Islamic University (EB) has been completed. At the end of admission, 1,270 seats are still vacant. On Thursday (February 10), the director of the university’s ICT cell, Prof. Dr. Ahsan ul Ambia, confirmed this.

The admission of those on this list ends on February 7. It is known that at the end of the third merit list, a total of 825 candidates have been admitted to the three units against 2,095 seats of the university. 1,270 seats are still vacant. Of these, 274 out of 550 seats in the ‘A’ unit, 746 out of 1095 seats in the ‘B’ unit, and 250 out of 450 seats in the ‘C’ unit are vacant.

Islamic University authorities released the third merit list on February 2, subject to vacant seats. Professor Dr. Ahsan ul Ambia, director of the ICT cell, said seats are vacant in almost every university. Perhaps their respective universities can arrange for the admission of students in their own process. The university administration is supposed to decide how to fill the vacant seats.
