Jagannath University Admission interview starts today

The interview for admission on a merit-based basis for vacant seats of graduation first year in 2020-21 at Jagannath University (JU) will be held on Thursday (March 3). The total number of vacant seats allotted for admission according to the merit order is 190. Of these, there are 171 seats in the ‘A’ unit and 19 seats in the ‘B’ unit. The interview of the ‘A’ unit will be held on March 3 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Central Auditorium and the interview of the ‘B’ unit will be held on the same day from 9 am to 2 pm in the law department.

The students appearing for the interview will be allotted subject to the vacancy of seats according to the merit order. For the interview, you have to download the prescribed form from the university’s website and fill it out. It is learned that in the 2020-2021 year of Graduation (Honours) and BBA 1st year, the interview has been recalled to fill up the existing vacant seats in various categories in the ‘A’ unit (merit order 7652 to 12000) and in the ‘B’ unit (merit order 2517 to 3500) on the basis of merit.

Later, the subject allotment list will be released at 5 pm and subsequently the admission fees can be submitted till 11.59 pm on March 6. After that, classes for undergraduate (honours) and BBA first-year students will start for the academic year 2020-2021 at 11 am on March 8. For this purpose, the notice has been asked to allow the students to be present in their respective departments on time.
