BUET’s admission test planned to be held in June-July

BUET’s admission test is planned to be held in June-July. Bangladesh Engineering University admission test in June or July. It is learned that a meeting of the Academic Council of BUET will be held on Saturday (February 19). In that meeting, a new committee will be formed to conduct the admission test for 2021-22. Later, this committee will meet and decide all the issues including the date of the admission test. The recommendations of the committee will be finalized at the academic council meeting later.

The preliminary selection test for BUET was held on October 20 and 21 last year in 2020-21. The final examination was held on November 6 with the first 6,000 selected in the preliminary selection. Of the 5,944 students who appeared for the written exam, 1,980 made it to the initially selected and waiting list for admission. After verification, 1,215 of these students got the opportunity to get admission to BUET.

According to the information, the subject-wise marks of the students applying to participate in the BUET admission test are viewed. For this, the database of students is collected from the respective education boards. It takes some time to do this. Last time it took about two months to collect this information. Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) has planned to conduct the 2021-22 admission test in June or July. The university administration has also started preparations to conduct the admission test.
