Minimum qualification of the applicant for admission to Dhaka University. According to the university administration, as the minimum qualification for the applicants seeking admission, the total GPA for the ‘A’ unit is 8 in secondary or equivalent examinations from 2016 to 2019 and higher secondary or equivalent examination (including 4th subject) of 2021 and 3.5 for GPA 3.5, ‘B’ units separately and the total GPA for GPA 3, ‘C’ units is 7.5.

Separately, the GPA should be 3.5, the total GPA for the ‘D’ unit is 7.5, and separately GPA 3 (but for the candidates coming from the science stream of science, agricultural science, domestic economics, and madrasa education board, there should be a total GPA of 8 and 3.5 separately) and for unit ‘F’ there should be a total GPA of 6.5 and GPA 3 separately.

The date was finalized at a meeting of the university’s general admission committee on Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Md. Akhtaruzzaman. In the admission test of units ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’, it was decided to conduct an MCQ of 60 marks and a written test of 40 marks. The MCQ exam of units ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’ has been fixed at 45 minutes and 45 minutes for the written test.
