The admission notification for the years 2021-2022 of Jahangirnagar University has been published. The notification was published on the university’s admission website on Thursday (April 28).

According to the notification, this year’s admission test will be as per the revised syllabus of HSC. 20 marks have been allotted for GPA obtained by SSC and HSC. 7.5 marks have been allotted for GPA obtained in SSC and 12.5 marks for HSC.

A Bengali and an English sentence should be written as per the instructions at the designated place below the OMR sheet (answer sheet). The question papers of the applicants for the English version and A level/O level will be in English and will be held at the time and place decided by their examination unit. If students with disabilities need special help to take the exam, then the consent has to be obtained by applying on white paper along with the head of the unit concerned.

For admission to the departments of pharmacy, biochemistry and life sciences, and microbiology in the D unit, one has to get a minimum of 50 percent marks individually in both chemistry and biology in the admission test. For admission to BBA (IBA-JU) in the E unit, a minimum of 40 percent marks in English and Mathematics separately should be obtained in the admission test.
