In this regard, the pro-VC (education) of the university, Prof Nurul Alam, said that the decision will be taken after discussing the matter in the academic council meeting. Nothing can be said before. However, I personally feel that if there is no chance of a second admission, then the students should be informed at least a year in advance. For this time, however, there should be a chance to get admission for the second time.
Meanwhile, in Rajshahi University, VC Professor Golam Sabbir has also voted in favor of the opportunity to take the admission test for the second time. The academic council of the university is scheduled to meet on February 24. That’s where the matter is supposed to be finalized.
According to sources, the Bangladesh university grants commission (UGC) has sent letters to the universities with two instructions. The two instructions are to organize the admission test in a short syllabus and give a second chance to the students in the admission test.
