40th BCS postponed viva exams begin on February 6.The postponed oral examination of the 40th BCS on February 6. The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) had postponed the oral examination of the 40th BCS due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases. The psc said that the postponed examination will start again on Sunday (February 6). This information was given by the PSC in a notification on Tuesday (February 1).

The oral examination of 751 candidates with provisionally qualified registration marks for posts of general and technical/professional cadre in the written examination of the 40th BCS examination will be held from February 6 at the head office of the Bangladesh Public Works Commission from February 6 as per the revised date and schedule.

The PSC released the result of the 40th BCS written examination on January 27, 2021. 4,12,532 candidates had applied for the 40th BCS preliminary examination. Of these, 3,27,000 candidates took the exam. Among them, 20,277 passed the prelims. A total of 1,903 cadres will be taken in the 40th BCS.
