For this, several educational institutions in the metropolis have been selected as centers. The department has given a letter requesting to give the room-wise number of how many candidates can sit in those educational institutions. This time, the primary assistant teacher recruitment exam center is not taking place in the divisional cities.

In a meeting in this regard, the ministry was informed on March 10 that the Directorate of Primary Education had issued a notification on October 20, 2020, for recruitment to 32,577 vacant posts of assistant teachers. But due to the reality of the Corona epidemic, it was not possible to take the recruitment test. Already, more than 10,000 posts of assistant teachers have fallen vacant due to retirement. This has led to a shortage of teachers in schools, which is hampering teaching activities.

To solve this problem, the ministry has decided to recruit about 45,000 assistant teachers by combining the vacant posts of the previous notification and the vacant posts after the notification. According to the letter, it has been decided that the written examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools-2020 will be held centrally from 10 am or 3 pm on April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 in the month of April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at different centers of Dhaka Metropolitan City. Your organization has been selected to take the written test on the due date. You are requested to cooperate in the written examination.

It is requested to submit the room-wise number of seats of the maximum number of candidates that can be arranged in your institution by March 15. The letter, signed by the additional director general of the directorate Sohel Ahmed, was sent to various educational institutions on March 10, requesting them to provide all-around support for conducting the written examination. Earlier, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education had decided to conduct the recruitment test by April and appoint the candidates who passed in July.
