First-year classes at Comilla University begin on February 27. (Kubi) In-person classes in the first year of graduation (honors) 2021-22 are going to start from February 27. On Sunday (January 6) afternoon, the registrar (additional charge) of the university, Prof. Dr. Mo Abu Taher, confirmed the matter to Jago News.

He said the deadline for the university to close classes in person will continue till February 21. But in-person exams will continue in the university. The admission process for the passed-out students has been going on since January 2 which is now almost in the final stages. However, there are still 210 vacant seats. So for the fourth time, the interview and admission time was extended.

Earlier this year, a total of 19 departments of six faculties of the university had applied against each seat in the first year. Against a total of 1,040 seats in the three units, 41,324 candidates had applied.
