Out of 46 public universities in the country, admission tests are being held in three batches in 29. Meanwhile, 20 general and science and technology streams, six agricultural universities, and three engineering universities are conducting the examination separately in three clusters. Apart from the cluster system are Bangladesh Engineering University, Dhaka University, Jahangir Nagar University, Rajshahi University, and Chittagong University. And the three specialized – Bangladesh Textile University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime, and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University – wanted to go in a cluster manner with BUET, but BUET did not agree.
