National University Seats are not increasing. Graduation (honors) is taught in 61 colleges in the National University. Of these, 274 are government colleges and 618 are private educational institutions. There are 4 lakh 37 thousand 275 seats in the first year of admission in the graduation (honors) class.
And in degree (pass course) there are 4 lakh 21 thousand 990 seats for admission in the first year. Degree courses are taught in 1,989 colleges across the country. 3 lakh 64 thousand 8 students have been admitted in 2020-2021. If the seats are not increased, the same number of students will be admitted again.

However, the Vice-Chancellor also said that the seats will not be discussed in this meeting.
Meanwhile, in 2020-21, there are about 41,000 vacant seats in the National University. Without publishing the third release slip, leaving these seats vacant, the university completed the admission process for 2020-21. As a result, thousands of students did not get the opportunity to get admission to an honors degree. It is feared that many students may be deprived of higher education if the seats are not increased.
