In-person classes in Shabiprabi begin on February 22. Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury, public relations officer of the university, said that according to the decision of the syndicate meeting, if there is no new restriction of the government on corona infection, then the body classes will start in the university on February 22.

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, in-person classes will start from February 22 at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology if the ongoing restrictions are not extended till February 21. The decision was taken at an emergency syndicate meeting of the university on Sunday (February 13).

Earlier today, the virtual syndicate meeting started at around 7 pm. The meeting ended at 8:00 p.m. At the end of the meeting, the university said in a notification that all the halls of the university will be opened from February 14. After that, from February 15, all departments of the university will be able to conduct online classes.
