Schools and colleges should not be closed anymore: Education Minister. He made the call at the inauguration of the piloting program of the new curriculum on Tuesday (February 22). The event was inaugurated by the Education Minister virtually. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Mani said that due to Corona, educational institutions should not have to be closed anymore. That is why he urged all, including parents, teachers, and students, to strictly follow hygiene.
The minister also said that in the new curriculum, students will learn by doing it themselves. They will learn as best as possible. In the new curriculum, students will be skilled, qualified, students will be developed with a sense of humanity. Our efforts will be to take the students to build the Golden Bengal of our dreams. On the day of the opening of educational institutions after being closed for a month due to Corona, the piloting of new books of class VI under the new curriculum began. Under this, teaching has started in 62 educational institutions of the country in the new curriculum.
The first educational institution was closed in March 2020 due to Corona. After the opening of educational institutions after almost a year and a half, the educational institutions were closed again on January 20. The Education Minister said, “Our aim is to achieve as many national goals as there are, to build a peaceful, prosperous country. My appeal to everyone, including teachers and parents, is to tell us where there is a problem so that we can properly formulate the best curriculum. It’s not that I’m going to reach the goal at once.
