Teachers summer vacation adjustment

Teachers’ summer vacation adjustment. Government primary school summer vacations have been adjusted. Government primary school summer vacations have been adjusted to give teachers leisure time. The summer vacation was supposed to be held in the primary schools from May 16 to May 23, but it has been adjusted from June 26 to July 5. The primary school will have Eid-ul-Azha and Asadhi full moon holidays from July 6 to July 18. As such, the primary schools will be closed from June 26 to July 18.

The order further said that direct teaching activities in government primary schools will be closed from June 26 to July 5 for summer vacation and from July 6 to 16 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and Asadhi full moon. The department has directed the divisional deputy director, district primary education officer, and Upazila education officer to take further action in this regard. The matter was informed in an order issued by the Department of Primary Education on Wednesday (April 20).

In the order, the department said that summer vacation was scheduled for May 18 to 23 in the list of holidays for government primary schools in 2022 AD. In order to facilitate the teachers’ leisure, the summer vacation has been fixed from 26th June to 5th July instead of 16th to 23rd May.
