Bangabandhu Digital University admission first merit list releases
The first merit list of admission to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University was released. The first merit list of Bangladesh (BDU) has been released for admission to the first year of the undergraduate (honors) class in 2020-2021. The merit list was published on the university’s admission website (http://admission.bdu.ac.bd) after a meeting of the admission committee chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor on Monday (January 31) afternoon.
The candidates who have been placed in the first merit list will have to log in on the university’s admission website (http://admission.bdu.ac.bd) from February 1 to 9 through the roll number and PIN number of their bunch of admission tests and fill up the final admission form and confirm that the subject migration in the migration field of the online admission form will be made by clicking on/off button on the subject migration field.
During this time, the technical committee of the 2020-2021 admission test handed over the results to vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor. Applicants can find out their results from the university’s admission website. Apart from this, the results of the first merit list have been notified through SMS on the mobile number mentioned in the admission application form of the applicants.
Apart from this, the candidates who are placed in the first merit list will have to complete the admission process from February 1 to 9 between 10 am and 5 pm (except public holidays) by submitting all kinds of documents present in the university and by submitting the admission fee through the university designated payment gateway (SSL Commarge and DBBL Rocket App).
Since 2018-2019, the country’s first digital university has been conducting educational activities in two programs under two faculties and departments in the undergraduate (honors) category. At the admission committee meeting, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor said, “This time we conducted the admission test in an integrated cluster system for the first year admission in the undergraduate (honors) class 2020-2021.
We have released the first merit list based on the SSC and hsc results of those exams and candidates. More merit lists will be published later subject to seats remaining vacant. The VC said Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina and her information and communication technology adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy are dreaming of leading the fourth industrial revolution with the youth. Bangabandhu’s daughter has established the university to take Bangladesh towards sustainable and planned development by turning the youth into skilled human resources in the information and communication technology sector.
