When asked about this, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Secretary, of Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, said that the ministry has been informed about the publication of hsc and equivalent examination results any day after February 10. The results will be published by February 15. When asked about the publication of the results on February 12, he declined to comment on the matter.
The Education Ministry has informed the Prime Minister’s Office about such a proposal by the Inter Education Coordination Board. The ministry is now awaiting the prime minister’s assent. According to sources in the Prime Minister’s Office, preparations are on to inform Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to release the results of HSC and equivalent examinations on Saturday (February 8). If the prime minister’s consent is received, the education ministry will be informed about the publication of the results on that day.
About 14 lakh students participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations of 2021, including nine general and madrasa and technical education boards. The HSC written exam continues till December 30. After that, the practical examination of the examinees is held. Now the results of the candidates are being processed by the education boards.
